Job Description
As an Account Manager, you will be the key link between our products/services and our clients. You understand the client's needs, identify new business opportunities, and offer customized solutions that meet their demands and expectations. Additionally, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and close deals that create win-win situations.
Responsibilities:
- Actively approach potential clients and detect sales opportunities.
- Maintain and expand existing client relationships.
- Identify sales opportunities and develop tailored proposals.
- Negotiate and close contracts.
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Collaborate with other Account Managers, Presales, and Marketing to provide the best service to clients.
- Report directly to our Head of Sales.
A day in the life of an Account Manager at spotit
Your day begins with a fresh cup of coffee and a drive to connect. The early hours are dedicated to actively seeking out new clients, reaching out to potential leads, and spotting exciting sales opportunities. You feel the thrill of the hunt, knowing that each conversation could be the start of something big.
As the day picks up, your focus shifts to the clients you've already built relationships with. You check in, listen to their evolving needs, and provide tailored solutions that show you truly understand their business. You’re not just offering a service; you’re becoming their trusted partner.
The afternoon continues with teamwork. You collaborate with fellow account managers, presales, and the marketing team, aligning to ensure clients receive the best possible experience. It’s all about working together to bring each client’s vision to life.
As the day winds down, you report your progress to the Head of Sales. You share the wins, discuss any challenges, and set your sights on the next opportunity. Each day brings new challenges and achievements, and you end it knowing you’re making a real impact at spotit.

Your Profile:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the IT, networking, or security sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
- A proactive attitude and a drive to continually learn and improve.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (both spoken and written). French is a plus.
- Technical knowledge of networking and security solutions is an advantage.
