What will you be doing?

• Daily bank postings for all entities
• Preparing payments
• Processing training payments using a credit card
• Recording purchase invoices for all entities
• Handling visa statements (collecting and processing receipts)
• Monitoring budgets

A day in the life of an accountant at spotit

Picture this: you start your day with a fresh cup of coffee and dive into the morning routine of keeping our financial engines running smoothly. First up, you review and post daily bank transactions for all our entities, ensuring every euro is accounted for. It’s all about starting the day with clarity and precision.

Mid-morning, you prepare payments, double-checking every detail to maintain our strong reputation for accuracy and trust. Occasionally, you'll process training payments using a company credit card, helping to support the growth and development of our team.

As the day progresses, purchase invoices begin to roll in. You meticulously record these across all entities, keeping our accounts in perfect order. Alongside this, you manage visa statements—gathering receipts and processing them efficiently, making sure no expense goes unnoticed.

After lunch, you shift your focus to budgets. Monitoring and managing them is a crucial part of your role, as you provide insights that help guide key business decisions. You’re not just crunching numbers; you’re actively shaping the company’s financial future.

By the end of the day, you leave with the satisfaction of knowing you’ve contributed to the seamless functioning of a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

Your profile

• You have at least 3 to 4 years of experience.
• You have completed an accounting education.
• You’re an expert in anything regarding VAT.
• You know your way around Outlook and Excel.
• Experience in Salesforce and/or Netsuite are a big plus.
• You have a hands-on mentality and thrive on precision.
• You are proactive, communicative and a real teamplayer.
• You speak fluently Dutch and English (French is a plus).
