What will you do?

• Manage multiple end-to-end customer projects within IT security and networking.
• Monitor and steer projects based on quality, scope, deliverables, timing, and budget.
• Act as the key point of contact between clients, internal teams, account managers, and third parties.
• Work proactively to identify and minimize risks across all project phases.
• Detect and manage scope changes, and clearly communicate their impact on the overall project.
• Align with the Planning Coordinator to ensure resource availability and realistic timelines.
• Coordinate all operational steps: processes, milestones, ordering and delivery of equipment, and cooperation with third parties.
• Lead the formal delivery of the project and the kick-off of support contracts.
• Ensure clear, continuous communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure formal handover to operations ensuring full ownership for ongoing support and maintenance.

A day in the life of a Project Manager at spotit

You start your day with a project stand-up: you align with your technical team, check in on yesterday’s blockers, and anticipate today’s progress.

Next, a call with a client — they’ve requested a change in scope. Thanks to your structured approach and technical insight, you quickly assess the impact, inform the necessary stakeholders, and propose a solid solution.

After lunch, you update the project timeline, double-check a delivery with a vendor, and coordinate a handover meeting for a completed implementation.

By the end of the day, you've ensured progress on multiple projects and built even more trust with both your team and clients — all without compromising on quality or clarity.

Your profile

• A holder of a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent through experience.
• Equipped with at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the IT sector — ideally in security and networking.
• Technically grounded with a clear understanding of IT infrastructures and systems.
• A strong communicator and motivator — capable of aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong reporting skills in tracking and communicating project progress
• Process-minded and solution-oriented — quick to act, with a clear overview at all times.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Familiar with methodologies such as Prince II and/or PMBoK (certification is a plus).
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
